ABS Wants: Flip MinoHD

Now that I've finally got my own A Beautyful Sentiment YouTube channel, I've been telling myself that I finally have an excuse to buy myself a Flip MinoHD which I've actually had on my wishlist for the longest time.

They come in the cutest patterns and you can even make your own designs to upload onto the site. Check out some of my personal favorites down below!

I'm DYING to get my hands on one of these cuties but sadly at around $230 they're a little out of my budget at the moment. I do hope to scrounge together the pennies and save up for one of these so that I can bring you some great HD YouTube videos at some point though!

Tsumori Chisato for Shu Uemura - Quite Possibly the Cutest Makeup Collection There Ever Was!

Japanese fashion designer Tsumori Chisato collaborated with Shu Uemura to bring us a ridiculously cute collection of cosmetics and accessories that I guarantee you'll be hard-pressed to resist. Inspiration for the collection from “The Little Prince” and the cosmos and the collection's packaging definitely reflects this with its plethora of glitter, shimmer, stars and playful renderings of cats.

See more photos and check out collection details and pricing after the jump!

The Tsumori Chisato for Shu Uemura collection includes:

I want it all but since I'm trying to be a little more responsible about my beauty spending, I may just go for the Rouge Unlimited lipstick in Jupitor Brown. I'm not entirely crazy about the shade (anything that has the word brown in it is generally a no-no for me) but I'm gaga over the cute packaging!

What will you be picking up from the collection?

ABS Wants: Lipstick Queen 'Fame' 5-piece Pop Art Lipgloss Collection

Lipstick Queen Five Minutes of Fame Pop Art Gloss Set ($55 value for $25.56)

Lipstick Queen creator Poppy King recently released a range of Fifteen Minutes of Fame Pop Art Glosses meant to embody each minute of the fifteen minutes of fame Andy Warhol believed each individual would have in the future. These glosses are clear, bright, unadulterated color sans shimmer or glimmer.

QVC's set brings us five of these minutes at what I think is a bargain price:

  • 0.04 oz gloss in 3 Minutes, an apricot pink
  • 0.04 oz gloss in 5 Minutes, a pale peach
  • 0.04 oz gloss in 11 Minutes, a vibrant purple
  • 0.04 oz gloss in 12 Minutes, a deep rose
  • 0.04 oz gloss in 13 Minutes, a raspberry hue

This set is currently topping my wishlist - my lips definitely want their 15 minutes of fame!

Introducing LancĂ´me Oscillation PowerFoundation SPF 21

Lancome's latest Oscillation PowerFoundation is just one of those products that makes me go "hmmmm.....seriously?!" ~ it's not that it seems like a particularly bad idea, it's more that I'm wondering who the heck thought that the world needed a vibrating foundation! Which isn't to say that I'm not dying to to pick myself up this $48 vibrating mineral foundation that promises to revitalize and smooth my skin.

So who wants to see a review of this? Because if my public demands it, you know I have no choice but to get it! In the meantime, you'll have to make do with this HSN presentation of the foundation. Surprisingly it looks promising, although looking at this product, some of my Oscillation Mascara disappointment is coming back to me.

ABS Wants: Ed Hardy Color Kits

Ed Hardy's new 'Love Kills Slowly'
(top) and 'Geisha' (bottom) kits ($55 each) are you basic look in a box type of thing, with the fun addition of Ed Hardy's Eau de Parfum Solid and the Love & Luck Eau de Parfum Solid. It's conveniently packaged with all the brushes you need and contains lipstick, gloss, shadow and bronzer plus some cute brushes from the looks of things.

My favorite part? The 'stage-makeup lights' running along the two outer flaps. Rather useless but pretty cute!

Dior Cristal Boreal for Holiday 2009

Dior Cristal Boreal ($80)
Dress Up and dazzle for the holidays with Dior's own legendary jewel designs. The greatest star of all, this gleaming pendant necklace inspired by the "Crystale Boreale," a legendary Swarovski crystal-studded pendant designed for Christian Dior in 1955. Influenced by the ornate, corseted gowns and decorative broaches of the 18th Century Louis XVI style and inspired by the delicate light-reflecting qualities of crystal, each product in this exquisite color collection is like a tiny jewel. Featuring shades of petal pink, deep silver and a wide range of purples to create a luxurious and festive look for holiday.

I always look forward to Dior's gorgeous holiday beauty releases that come in jewelry-form, but this revered fashion house has really outdone itself for Holiday 2009 with this Dior Cristal Boreal, a stunning rendition of an 18th-century influenced piece comprised of four aurora boreas crystals and a smattering of 48 additional Swarovskis. Housed within is a crystal-effect gloss in shade Pink Crystal. This is going onto my holiday wishlist, alhtough at $80 it's probably not something I'll end up with.

Lancome's 'Declaring Indigo' Nordstrom Exclusive 5 Piece Brush Set was a huge hit when it launched, and it looks as though Lancome has decided to capitalize on that success during the holidays by brinigng us this lovely purple-hued Deluxe Brush Set for the holidays.

At $59 it's $7 more than the original Declaring Indigo set, but it does include one more brush and comes in an elegant bejeweled brush roll ~ plus it's a $160 value! So what exactly does your $59 get you?

L'Oreal Launches Roll'On Foundation in the UK

The SO is currently in the process of renovating his new space and so I've had paint rollers on the brain, and it looks as though L'Oreal has been on the same wavelength considering their UK launch of this rather intriguing Roll'on True Match Foundation.

Read on after the jump to learn more about this foundation that you roll onto your face!

According to L'Oreal, "L'Oréal Paris True Match Roll'on foundation delivers their new approach to achieving perfect uniformity and flawless-looking coverage. The stretch formula and the unique Roll'on applicator work together to provide ultra-fine, ultra even coverage. No tide-marks, no caking. With its ergonomic shape, the applicator reaches even the most difficult areas, leaving the finest layer of foundation over the skin."

Tragically this isn't available stateside (and who knows if it ever will be) but if it ever is I'll be the first in line to test it out simply because I'm dying of curiosity. I know it'll probably be rubbish and I'll have wasted hard earned money on it, but I've got to see this roll-on applicator for myself!

On a semi-related note, I'll be bringing you my review of L'Oreal's Telescopic Explosion at some point today, and a comparison of Telescopic Explosion and the two Phenomen'eyes mascaras hopefully by tomorrow.

Availability: For those of you in the UK, this currently available via Boots for £12.71.

ABS Wants: Dior 'Serum de Rouge' Tinted Lipstick & Silver Nike Gladiateur Mid Sandals

Dior 'Serum de Rouge' Tinted Lipstick ($32)
Discover the most luxurious lip treatment ever created: new Serum de Rouge by Dior. With ten times more active skincare ingredients than other lipsticks, Serum de Rouge features an amazingly creamy texture to moisturize, smooth and pamper your lips day after day. Enriched with mango butter and other natural extracts, this nourishing treatment actually boosts your lips' microcirculation and collagen levels and enhances their appearance with luminous color.

Dior's 'Serum de Rouge' is looking and sounding quite a lot like Cle de Peau's Touche de Rouge Extra Silky Lipstick (click the link for my review) which I absolutely adore, and while it's pretty pricey at $32, I'd say $32 is better than $50! More than anything I'm loving the sleek lipstick tube etched with Dior's classic Lady Dior purse pattern. Gorgeous!

And this is not beauty related at all (you know I like to go off on my random tangents every now and then) but I happened to see these shoes in a little Nike boutique in SoHo on Saturday and while they're as far from my usual style as you can get, I'm dying to own them. I mean gladiator shoes in sneaker form - how cute! Nike's Gladiateur Mid Sandals run $80 but availability seems to be quite limited. What do you think?

ABS Wants: 2 Palettes From Sephora

The Runway Palette ($175 Value for $49)
A Sephora-exclusive kit featuring all the products you need to create the hottest beauty looks of the season—offered at one pretty price!

This kit was created to make applying Fall 2009's hottest runway looks easy and fun. The season's color palette allows for endless combinations with the smoky gray eyes, bronzed nude cheeks, and pops of vibrant eye color. Complete with a smoky-gray eye palette, six runway-inspired eyeshadow shades, three silky powder blushes, and a best-selling bronzer, you'll be on your way to creating your own custom, vibrant fall looks in no time.

This set contains:

- Essential Palette in Gray
- Blush in Big Easy, Rome, and Topeka
- Medium Bronzer
- 6 Button Eye Shadows in Emerald Green, Charcoal Blue, Shimmering Green-Gold, Golden Brown, Dusk Blue, Matte Purple

I'm usually not a big Cargo fan, not that I've actually tried any of their products. There's just something about the way that they're packaged that doesn't appeal to me, and that in turn results in my not purchasing cosmetics from them. Silly but true. But I'm a sucker for cable-knit anything and I happen to love buttons (I know I'm weird!), so seeing these two things combined into a makeup palette is like going to my little happy place. I want this! I need it! I must have it!

Sephora Brand Colorful Artist Palette ($30)
An exclusive, fifteen-shade, next-generation eyeshadow ensemble. Discover this set of highly pigmented, long-lasting shadows that reinvent color intensity. These show-stopping shades have the perfect, high-payoff combination of brilliant color, an easy-blending formula, and endless versatility that will revolutionize your eye-makeup outlook and deliver stunning effects. Experiment with multiple finishes: matte, glitter, and metallic shimmer. Apply your color dry for a natural vibe or dampen your brush and apply wet for an all-out sophisticated stare. Let inspiration be your guide and watch your makeup go from everyday to extraordinary.

So this isn't nearly as cute as the Cargo palette, but it's pretty high on my to-buy list considering that I've been wanting a Coastal Scents palette forever and still haven't managed to get my hands on one. I do think it's a little pricey at $30 considering it's Sephora brand, but it does look pretty good. Not as good as that Cargo though! =P

ABS Wants: Clarisonic Mia® Limited Edition Skin Cleansing System

Clarisonic Mia® Limited Edition Skin Cleansing System ($149)
From the creators of the Sonicare® toothbrush comes the Clarisonic® Mia Limited Edition Skin Cleansing System, featuring the handy to-go sized version of the original, groundbreaking Clarisonic Brush. Sonic technology first changed the way we clean our teeth, now it's changing how we cleanse our skin. The sonic frequency moves Clarisonic's soft, gentle brush back and forth at more than 300 times per second, thoroughly clearing pores and skin surface.

This set contains:
Clarisonic Mia Handle; Compact international pLink™ charger; Sensitive Brush Head; Normal Brush Head; 1.0 oz Gentle Hydro Cleanser; White mesh travel bag

While I love my Clarisonic, I've always wished that it was just a little bit more portable. The brush head itself is pretty decent travel with and it does hold a charge for a good amount of time, but for long trips I've found myself needing the charging base and that's just more cumbersome than I'd like. Which is why I'm so excited to see that Clarisonic has decided to bring us this travel-sized Clarisonic (which is available in pink, yay! and white for those of you who aren't into pink).

Another thing I'm liking about this is that if you don't already own a Clarisonic, this may be a more affordable alternative - I don't know about you, but $50 seems like a pretty decent price differential to me! All in all I'm pretty tempted to give it a shot, although I don't see this fitting into my budget anytime soon. What do you think? Do you plan to give the Clarisonic Mia a shot?

New From Chanel: Rouge Allure Laque & Symphonie Blanche de Chanel

Chanel's new Rouge Allure Laque Luminous Satin Lip Lacquer is a creamy lipstick/gloss hybrid with rich colour and shine that supposedly lasts for up to 8 hours.

Rouge Allure Laque- is the ideal weapon of ultimate seduction that gives the lips an even more “dressed-up” style. This little jewel in black lacquered glass conceals an “artist’s brush” applicator, the secret weapon of precision for perfectly defined lips. It offers a new, elegant beauty gesture. It combines the easy application of a gloss with the makeup finish of a lipstick.A brilliantly stylised signature for the lips. Its light, creamy texture, filled with “soft focus” coated pigments, coats lips in intense colour and lacquered shine. A botanical jelling agent provides perfect hold, while Jojoba oil extract ensures extreme comfort.

Available in 8 shades, Chanel's Rouge Allure Lacque will run you $32 - ouch I know! Nonetheless these have been pushed to the top of my wishlist; I 100% blame Nicole for this. Ming & Phoenix both look to be gorgeous pinks. Check out a video of Rouge Lacque being applied HERE.

Chanel's Symphonie Blanche de Chanel is a modern makeup collection that highlights the beauty of white. It's comprised of:

  • Fleurs Celestes de Chanel (Natural Finish Face Highlighter): A captivating trio of highlighting powders with a subtle gradation of colour - white, pink, bronze - provides a natural-looking radiance to accentuate the gentle curves of the face and dĂ©colletĂ©. Adding to the compact's desirability: an artful arrangement of embossed flowers across a 'field' of snowy white
  • Les 4 Ombres (Quadra Eye Shadow) in White Whisper: Ideal for this luminous eye look, LES 4 OMBRES Quadra Eye Shadow features White Whisper, a quartet of shades - silver pink, pearly white, light gold, dark silver - that combine for a range of effects.
  • Poudre Douche (Soft Pressed Powder) in Rosee: Pure flattery for the face, POUDRE DOUCE Soft Pressed Powder features light-reflecting pigments that help minimize skin imperfections, in a convenient compact. In RosĂ©e, a soft rose.

  • Rouge Hydrabase (Creme Lipstick) in Simply Pink: Long-lasting ROUGE HYDRABASE Creme Lipstick delivers deeply moisturizing colour in a chic new shade: Simply Pink.
  • Le Crayon Kohl (Intense Eye Pencil) in Blanc: LE CRAYON KHĂ”L Intense Eye Pencil glides on for flawless eyelining - and eye-opening! - effects, in new Blanc, a pure white.
  • Le Vernis (Nail Colour) in Blanc Petale: Nails stand out with LE VERNIS Nail Colour, in new limited-edition Blanc PĂ©tale, a crisp white.

Click on over to Chanel's site for more info on this refreshing, ice-princess reminiscent collection. I know I'd probably never be able to bring myself to use the highlighter but I want it simply for the fact that it's gorgeous, and I've also got my eye on the sheer illuminating base. Budget permitting as always though!

ABS' Five: Dior, Urban Decay, and Hourglass

Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow - Night Butterfly 173 ($56)
A seductive palette of five rich, versatile eyeshadow colors. Allows you to create a multitude of makeup looks, from the simplest, to the most sophisticated, depending on your mood. The light, smooth texture is easy to apply, offering incomparable staying power and a silky-fine finish. Shades include: violet, light lavender, black with silver micro glitter, gray, and eggplant purple plus two double-ended sponge applicators.

Dior's 5-Colour Eyeshadows tend to be pretty hit-or-miss for me, as sometimes they come in stunning color combinations that are pigmented and almost creamy-feeling, whereas other times they're chalky, unpigmented, and all-around blah. Since I'm obsessive about my pinks and purples, the Night Butterly palette really calls to me from its deep, shimmering depths.

Urban Decay Box of Potions ($114 value for $65)
An exclusive, limited-edition kit packed with the cult-favorite Eyeshadow Primer Potion and four new primers for the lips, lashes, and complexion. It's the magic of Eyeshadow Primer Potion—for your lips, lashes, and complexion! Each product ensures that your makeup applies smoother, stays truer, and lasts longer. The runaway cult product, Primer Potion, is the ultimate eye prep product for crease-proof eyeshadow. The invisible Lip Primer keeps your favorite lipstick or gloss from fading or feathering and the Eyelash Primer builds lashes by coating each one with tiny fibers. The Complexion Primer Potion for Pore Perfecting minimizes the look of pores and fine lines, and the Complexion Primer Potion for Brightening creates beautifully moisturized skin that looks brighter and feels tighter.

This set contains:

- 1 oz Complexion Primer Potion - Brightening
- 1 oz Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting
- 0.34 oz Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- 0.3 oz Eyelash Primer Potion
- 0.07 oz Lip Primer Potion SPF 15

How awesome is this Box of Potions? It packs all of the new must-have priming products (and their classic eyeshadow primer) into one box, and at a fantastic price! I'm getting all you Urban Decay fans will be all over this one.

Dior 'Capture Totale' Instant Rescue Eye Treatment ($95)
Capture Totale Instant Rescue Eye Treatment features a fresh cream formula that intensively corrects all visible signs of aging while dramatically reducing the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. The innovative palladium applicator gently massages and cools the skin to instantly awaken the eye area. This unique formula can be applied directly to the skin in the morning and evening, or over makeup for a refreshing mid-day touch-up.

I know it's gimmicky, but I can't hel pwanting this new eye treatment from Dior. I love the cooling applicator that my La Mer Eye Concentrate comes with, and this flat one looks like it'd be great to massage the eye area as well. Adding this to my looooong list of things I want but will probably never buy.

Hourglass Visionaire Eye Shadow Duo ($38)
Hourglass Visionaire Eye Shadow Duo Visionaire pairs two complementary shades of supersmooth color that create gorgeous looks singly or together. Each versatile hue may be applied dry for a natural look or wet for greater intensity.

I haven't tried many Hourglass products before, and don't have much of an opinion on their brand as a whole, but their packaging sure is cute! I love the whole rotating mirror thing, although I'm not entirely certain how useful it'll be.

Hourglass Primer Set ($56)
Hourglass Primer Set gives you two ways to achieve a gorgeous complexion. Veil Mineral Primer with SPF 15 neutralizes skintone; creates a smooth, uniform canvas for flawless makeup application; and offers UV protection. Solar Tan Self-Tanning Primer gets you glowing with a DHA-infused formula that creates a natural, radiant hint of bronze.
