L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Primers
I've been waiting for L'Oreal's Studio Secrets collection to be brought stateside ever since I heard about its launch in the UK, and while it doesn't look like we'll be getting the entire collection, I'm more than happy to settle for these Professional Color Correcting Primers. Available in three shades - green to counteract redness, pink to illuminate and add warmth to light complexions, and apricot to lend a radiant, healthy glow to medium/dark skintones - these primers are infused with moisturizing agents to ensure smooth, even foundation application.
Check out more details and photos after the jump!
L'Oreal's Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Primers not only come packaged in sleek tubes reminiscent of Make Up For Ever's HD Primers, but they're also contain SPF 15 to provide sun protection on a daily basis. The pink and apricot shades contain mother-of-pearl particles to provide you with a radiant complexion and I'm really hoping for great things. I'd usually go for the anti-redness, but I'm dying to see just how prominent the mother-of-pearl is in the anti-dull ones, so should I be lucky enough to happen upon these at one of my local drugstores (just checked Walgrees today with no luck) I'll be picking up the pink.
Have you tried these? Got your eye on them? Share in the comments!

SENSAI Cellular Performance HydraChange Series Preview
I hope you all survived your Tuesdays better than I did - I'd have to say that even for a Tuesday, mine was pretty abysmal. On the bright side though, the work week is almost half over and I've got a seriously amazing new skincare line to introduce you to.Sensai's new Cellular Performance HydraChange Series (launching in mid-March), containing a unique hyaluronic acid cocktail, seals in moisture, smooths skin's appearance, and best of all, provides an immediate water-like hydrating sensation upon contact.
I've been playing around with two items from this launch, the HydraChange Mist ($75) and the HydraChange Cream ($175) and my mother will be the first to admit that my skin is looking pretty amazing lately (and if you know Korean mothers, you'll know they never compliment you on anything, especially your skin). I haven't broken out once in the two months since I switched my skincare over to HydraChange and my skin hasn't been dry despite the ridiculously cold we've been having, but most amazing for me is the fact that my pores seem to be significantly tighter (although I can't be sure this is what brought about that change - I think it might have something to do with the daily cleanser I'm using as well - either way I'm seriously amazed and so so ecstatic since I've tried pretty much every pore-tightening product known to man to no avail). I've got to run off to work soon so this is all the info you're getting today, but you can expect review of the products soon!
Availability: Launching in-store at Bergdorf Goodman in mid-March. Pre-orders available via kanebobg@gmail.com. Available at Kanebo.com in April.

Tarina Tarantino for Sephora is Here!

Tarina Tarantino's Sephora cosmetics line has officially launched and of course I had to spread the news being a HUGE Tarina Tarantino fan! I shared my launch lemmings a few weeks back, but having had nearly a month to talk some sense into myself, I've decided to settle for just the TARINA TARANTINO Pearl Glow Primer
Have you seen any Tarina Tarantino goodies at your local Sephora? If so please share locations - I've been scouring mine but no luck yet!

The Body Shop Relaunches The Originals

The Body Shop recently relaunched a collection of some of their favorite products from the 80's (brought up to date with 100% recycled PET bottles and community trade ingredients) and guess who'll be reviewing them all for you? Me of course! The Originals collection includes a few deliciously-scented body washes (think green apple, peach, etc.), a cool icy blue shampoo, a breakfast-appropriate banana conditioner and even a few great products for face. Review of everything to come shortly!

Tarina Tarantino Launches at Sephora

All my fellow crazy Sephora stalkers (you know you're out there) may have noticed that Sephora has launched a little preview of the soon-to-arrive Tarina Tarantino cosmetics collection! There was a time when I was obsessed with all things Tarina Tarantino (I have a few of her flower hair clips and lusted after a Hello Kitty necklace for the longest time) so of course I'm thrilled to see her going back to her roots as a makeup artist and bringing us a Sephora-exclusive fun, girly new collection to check out.
Products I've got my eye on? Well the Pearl Glow Primer ($32) for one - I'm a sucker for any product that promises me luminescent skin. I mean what's more beautiful than a pearl's nacre? Other releases include the beautiful Sparklicity Shimmer Dust ($39) which is reminiscent of Guerlain's holiday shimmer sprays and a fun kabuki with a shock of fuchsia bristles called the Kapinki ($38). Can't wait for everything to officially release so that I can check the products out for myself!

Revlon's Version of MUFE HD? Peek at PhotoReady Foundation
Some proclaim its potential holy grail status, others complain of the Cullen-esque look they give them (too much sparkle), some raves it eliminates pores and lasts for 15 hours, others gripe that it emphasizes dry patches and imperfections and really isn't all that - so of course I had to grab a bottle and try it for myself.
Expect a review (hopefully soon) on whether this $13.99 bottle of foundation really lives up to the hype (and there's a lot of hype), or whether it's just another dud for me. Oh and FYI I picked this up on shade 004 Nude which I'm praying isn't waaay too dark on me!

It's Snowing!

There is currently an honest-to goodness snowstorm raging outside my bedroom window, and having waded through at least a good 5 inches of snow while wearing 4 inch heels (not the smartest idea I know!), I can attest to the fact that it's pretty darn cold outside! Nights like this make me think of sipping hot cocoa in front of a warm fireplace, and of course, festive holiday makeup.
So how's your weekend been treating you thus far? I spent 11 hours Christmas shopping - can you believe it?! Of course some of that involved playing with makeup (it's a hard task but somebody's gotta do it =P) and I took a quick moment to test out Armani's new Rouge D'Armani's, which in a word are FABULOUS! It boasts 8-hour wear time and is just a gorgeous gorgeous formula ~ non-drying, long-wearing, pigmented, creamy, amazingly packaged.

More details after the jump!
Vogue editors chose Rouge d’Armani in shade #600 selected as a favorite, while Harper’s Bazaar declared Rouge d’Armani #500 a “must-have” - which is why I've ordered it for myself using my Saks Mystery Money. It was all of $20 this year, but that still meant I only had to pay $12 and change for my new lipstick, which I haven't even swatched. Hopefully I love the shade!
Celebs who've been spotted in Rouge d’Armani include Rihanna (shade #401) and Kerry Washington (#100).

From what I remember, shade #503 was my favorite, but sadly it was sold out at Nordstrom and not available on the Saks site. I hope to get my hands on it soon though!

Forever 21 Launches Love & Beauty Cosmetics Line (Plus Save 10%)

All you Forever 21 shoppers may have noticed that they now carry inexpensive cosmetics in addition to trendy, wallet-friendly wardrobe items. The recently launched Love & Beauty line aims to provide shoppers with high-quality makeup at affordable prices, and I'd say the price points are definitely in keeping with the clothing line.
Nothing that I've seen online is wowing me just yet, but based upon the image above the "FACE" label on the product page it looks like they'll be launching some powders/foundations at some point so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for that as the packaging looks rather cute. If you're interested in checking out any of the products for yourself, enter code: MAKEUP10 at checkout now through November 14, 2009 to receive 10% off all Love & Beauty purchases.

MAC Mischief Makers from Magic, Mirth, and Mischief

MAC's Mischief Makers from their holiday Magic, Mirth and Mischief collection has launched and the packaging is cuter than ever! I always have these on my holiday list but never actually end up getting them. I'm thinking it'll be more of the same this year, but the mini pigments really are looking quite great.

What are your picks from MAC's holiday minis?

Join Me On a Sneak Peek Into the Victoria's Secret Offices and Holiday 2009 Releases!

This post is long overdue and all of these items have already launched, but a few months back I had the opportunity to check out the Victoria's Secret headquarters and to preview the upcoming (now currently available) holiday releases. I figured you'd enjoy having a peek at the photos, and of course all the products!
I was so impressed by everything, particularly the fragrances. Everything smelled just heavenly and I had an absolutely amazing time ~ which is saying quite a bit considering this starting at an ungodly hour on a rainy morning.

See a million more photos and a few snippets of information after the jump! Oh and you also get to see the PJ's I've been living in since attending this event =P.

This photo showcases the Velvet Amber Blackberry fragrance collection ~ the creators of this fragrance said that the scent is meant to evoke the sensuality of velvet - it's warmth and the wonderful plush feeling it has. I never thought you could capture Velvet in a bottle, but this really comes pretty close! I absolutely loved the packaging for this line as well - so rich, so luxe, so elegant!
Oh forgot to mention - please keep in mind that a good majority of these products are in sample packaging and may or may not be accurate representations of the actual packaging.

One of my personal favorite collections amongst the holiday launches was this Peace Love Hope fragrance release from the PINK line. The scent is comprised of green apple and honeysuckle and it's young, fresh, fruity and just simply delightful! LOVE everything from this line!

Victoria's Secret also created some adorable holiday goodies that make ideal stocking stuffers as they're cutely packaged and very affordable. Plus many of them even double as holiday ornaments!

Okay so these are the pajamas I've been living in since returning from this event. They were included in the goody bag and they're seriously cozy, comfy, soft and just downright cute! I kind of feel like a Christmas elf in these, but in a good way.

And who doesn't want to check out a bowl of beribboned underwear? I thought this photo would make a nice closer for this post. Hope you enjoyed joining me on my visit to the Victoria's Secret corporate offices!

Tsumori Chisato for Shu Uemura - Quite Possibly the Cutest Makeup Collection There Ever Was!

Japanese fashion designer Tsumori Chisato collaborated with Shu Uemura to bring us a ridiculously cute collection of cosmetics and accessories that I guarantee you'll be hard-pressed to resist. Inspiration for the collection from “The Little Prince” and the cosmos and the collection's packaging definitely reflects this with its plethora of glitter, shimmer, stars and playful renderings of cats.

- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura 'Planet Cat' Palette
($65)
- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura 'Planet Ribbon' Palette ($65)
- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura 'Rouge Unlimited' Lipstick ($25)
- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura Mini Brush Set ($69)
- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura Compact Mirror ($15)
- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura Cosmetic Pouch ($29)
- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura 'Golden Snow' Duo ($45)
- Tsumori Chisato for shu uemura 'Gloss Unlimited' Mini Lip Gloss Trio ($45)
I want it all but since I'm trying to be a little more responsible about my beauty spending, I may just go for the Rouge Unlimited lipstick in Jupitor Brown. I'm not entirely crazy about the shade (anything that has the word brown in it is generally a no-no for me) but I'm gaga over the cute packaging!
What will you be picking up from the collection?
