Sephora By OPI's Spring 2009 Collection

Sephora by OPI Spring 09 Collection
($9)

Sephora by OPI's Spring 2009 polishes are HOT! Warmer weather means an influx of brights for fingers and toes, and Sephora has certainly hit the mark with these gorgeously vibrant yet creamy hues--just looking at these polishes uplifts my spirits and brings thoughts of warmer, happier weather.

I have IM Beauty and Lost Without my GPS. Both are excellent spring colors. I never was a yellow nail polish fan, but IM beauty changed my mind. Can't wait to try them with the Konad kit :)

I love the yellow one! I don't have any yellow polishes. I had OPI That's All Bright With Me, but it was too sheer. No amount of coats could make it opaque. I walked around looking like I had a severe case of jaundice. You better believe that one went to the Zoya exchange.

I dunno I think these colors so last year! They are very similar to the Zoya Chit Chat, Zoya Gossip Girls, and Chanel Rodeo Drive collections that were released last year. I already colors from all three of these lines and they are not that different from this new collection, which is disappointing. I would have hoped Sephora could have come up with something fresh for spring instead of something that has already been done.

Do you like these colors Jen? Do you have any of the collections I mentioned from years past? I think they are all better than the one Sephora released so check them out.

I don't really like cremes, but I love the name Techno Girl, and I do like the colors Hi Def & Access 24/7. I can always put a sparkly coat over them :)

I'm Wired, Access 24/7 and IM Beauty! I initially thought that they are TOO bright, but after looking carefully, the colours grew on me lol

Jenn my thoughts exactly! I'm wondering if these work with Konad...

LOL Deb I have a bunch of polishes that just make my fingers look "dirty"--I'll be rid of them soon!

Socal I was thinking that these colors are very similar to the Chanel Rodeo Drive and the Essie polishes from last summer!

I do think these are really pretty, but like most of Sephora's other polishes I don't find them to be terribly original like you mentioned. I may have to just pick up a Chanel Rodeo Drive polish since I've been seeing them around lately, although I'm curious to see how the Sephora ones work with my Konad, since I can't get my Chanel polishes to work with it.

Phyrra a little sparkle works with everything!

Lilconstance if you're hesitant to wear these on your fingers, they make great pedi shades!

I just saw them at Sephora Soho. They didn't have a display but they had the the bottles at the cash wrap and they were available for purchase.

Judiannmel I like all of these but I'm having trouble picking ones that I'd actually purchase for some reason!

Frosty I love coraly peach blushes in the summertime--they create a gorgeous pop of color against otherwise bare skin!

Jenn I seem to recall seeing these at the Sephora on Fifth Ave the other day after work, but I'm not 100% sure.
